As from March 30, 2022, Charter Gilman Insurance Holdings Limited has changed its name to:
PSC INSURANCE HOLDINGS (HK) LIMITED (“PSC HK”).
This change of name has reflected the continuous commitment of PSC Insurance Group to strengthen its foothold in Hong Kong.
After the complete merging of the general insurance businesses of Globe Insurance Consultants Company Limited into Charter Gilman Insurance Brokers Limited from July 1, 2022 onwards, the two insurance broking arms under PSC HK are:
- Charter Gilman Insurance Brokers Limited, and
- Trans-Pacific Insurance Brokers Limited.
As from July 1, 2021 until June 30, 2022, GIC has successfully transferred and merged all its general insurance business with CGI Brokers. As of June 30, 2022, only long-term life insurance and MPF business are retained by GIC. Subsequently, GIC has been sold to an independent third party. From July 1, 2022 onwards, GIC is recognized as a non-PSC Group member company.
